Water is one of the
natural resources that people need. With the water, we can fulfill our daily
life. For example, we can drink, wash clothes, even water can be a powerhouse.
But, it is different if
the water came up with the amount of the axcess that will cause demage to the
community. In Jakarta, flooding is a problem that often hit the people. Many factors
cause flooding. For example, less water absorption areas, shallow rivers, and
many people who throw garbage carelessly. The main factor causing flooding in
Jakarta is garbage. Many people who throw garbage carelessly, so it can cause
clogged river flow. Because the blockage of the river, the capacity of the
river will decrease, and in the rainy season the river will overflow and cause
flooding. I as a younger generation, i have to promise not to throw garbage
carelessly. In addition, i will remind my friends to throw the garbage in its
place. So, the risk of Jakarta affected by floods will be reduced.
